XContest je objavio pobjednike XC sezone 2019

Početak sezone na XContest je 1.10.2018., a kraj 30.9.2019. Primož Suša je dugo držao 1. mjesto, i onda ga je mjesec dana prije kraja skinuo Michael Sigel, ujedno i prošlogodišnji pobjednik.

The 2019 World XContest has just officially ended and we have new paragliding and hang-gliding WINNERS!
1. place belongs to the Swiss winner of 2018 World XContest Michael Sigel with his longest flight 551km and total score 2782 points

2. place goes to the Slovenian pilot Primoz Susa, currently co-holder of 302km Out-and-Return World Record, with 2729 points
3. place with 2700 points flies to Juan Sebastian Ospina from the United Kingdom with Colombian roots

This season in OPEN category was literally a battle of Brazil record chasing flights in combination with extraordinary FAI Alpine triangles.
All three winners have their longest flights from Brazil towing sites (Caico & Assu).

World XContest 2019 champions - WOMEN

1st: Amazing German pilot Brigitte Kurbel has achieved the first place (after last year‘s 3rd place) with her best performance from Anthol by astonishing record FAI triangle 268km in 11:32 hours (total 2071p).

2nd: Silver goes to Germany again Ramona Eckert[/b] also flew incredibly from Antholz with super nice 251km FAI triangle (total 1755p).
3rd: Another defender from the last year, Gabriela Jacober-Wüest from Switzerland won bronze with all homeland triangle flights again (total 1707p).
